Teaching Philosophy My philosophy of education is to provide a balanced learning environment which is nurturing and structured. During the course of the school year, I will challenge each student and watch them grow to their full potential. Through positive educational experiences a love of learning will be fostered in each student.
Classroom Management
Classroom Rules:
1. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
2. Follow the teacher’s directions and school rules.
3. Raise your hand to speak – no blurting out.
4. Be on time and do your work on time.
5. Be a good Muslim.
LUA will be implementing Positive Behavioral Supports and Intervention Systems (PBIS) to focus on positive reinforcement in order to encourage Islamic behavior. We will be using an economy system to reward students for making good choices. This system will help students learn about money as well as monitor behavior. Students will receive play coins and dollars for good behavior, effort in the classroom, and quality homework packets. They will be able to exchange their earnings for a variety of prizes. If a student does not follow classroom and school rules, there will be deductions from their account/monies. Incentives for Good Behavior:
*Privilege to purchase from the school store using monies earned
